Off-grid supply is gaining in importance
The Off-Grid Expo and Conference 2022 in Augsburg closed its doors at the weekend. Beforehand, more than 60 exhibitors from twelve countries had presented their solutions for off-grid energy supply and the pressing water problem.

900 participants from 27 countries
About 900 participants from 27 countries came to the exhibition halls in Augsburg to learn about solutions, innovations and services for off-grid supply.
It was the fourth edition of the congress fair, which combined exhibition, trade conference and digital offerings. Traditionally, the event began on 30 November 2022 with the Techday, which offered users in-depth insights into innovative products in training sessions - on site and via digital platform.
The most important topics in the programme
Other highlights were mainly the events on women as entrepreneurs driving change, as well as financing such as microfinance. Other topics included innovative cooling technology, decentralised supply with solar power and other renewable energies, as well as e-mobility and energy storage.

The date for the next Off-Grid Expo + Conference has already been set: it will take place again in Augsburg from 7 to 8 December 2023. (HS/mfo)
